How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Account Manager - Leading Brand Communications Agency - London - £30k-£35k

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be an integral part of the account handling team with a real responsibility for being the driving force behind the successful completion of briefs in order to meet client expectations. Some of your responsibilities may include:

  • Developing your expertise to be able to liaise with the client directly on all aspects of work.

  • Ensuring that the Account Director is kept informed of relevant developments and that when required or appropriate, advice or input from the senior team is sought.

  • Management of budgets associated with project delivery and keeping clients updated on project progress.

  • Actively interacting and supporting relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.



This agency has no office egos, so therefore its new Account Manager would need to be a real team player who can work cohesively with the other members of their team. Along with this:

  • You should have a real passion for Healthcare Communications.

  • You should have an exceptional ability to multi-task and prioritise.

  • You should have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • You should possess an impeccable attention to detail.

  • You should have a good knowledge of the ABPI code of practice.
