This leading creative healthcare communications agency are seeking an experienced and Senior / Principal Medical Writer to oversee their Copy Team. Offering the opportunity to progress and the chance to join a supportive, inclusive and friendly team.

 

The Company

Based in gorgeous, open-plan offices in Central London this Creative Healthcare Agency is a stone's throw from the tube and boasts a friendly, supportive and collaborative atmosphere. They are seeking a Head of Copywriting to join the senior management team to play an integral role in the agencies creative offering:

The Role

As Head of Copywriting, you will play a key role in overseeing the strategy and development of the Copy Team. You will work closely with your team to respond to challenging and exciting client briefs, creating engaging and precise copy across all channels. You will work closely with the accounts and creative teams to provide a truly joined-up way of working to clients:

  • Providing oversight and quality control of written content to ensure it is meaningful and impactful
  • Mentoring the Copywriting Team, providing guidance and feedback
  • Promote collaboration and act as the key point of liaison between internal teams
  • Oversee and implement meaningful areas for training and development to help develop a solid team

 

You

This Head of Copywriting position is a rare opportunity and one not to be missed! You will be able to take the next step in your career, combining copywriting experience with management and strategic oversight. This would be a perfect opportunity for a Senior or Principal Writer seeking more from their role. To be considered you should have:

  • 3-5 years Medical Writing experience in a creative healthcare agency
  • Mentoring experience/ demonstrable leadership capability
  • Strong experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and ABPI code of conduct
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Life Sciences Degree
