The Market Research team.

Which area do you specialise in?
I work across all market research and business intelligence positions

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?
I keep up to date with issues in my sector by staying well networked. Our team holds yearly networking events which gives us all a chance to meet with candidate and clients. I also read industry articles and stay well networked on LinkedIn. I think it really helps that I have good relationships with the clients and candidates I work with!

What's your favourite film and why?
My favourite film has to be all the Matrix films! I love all the martial arts scenes and special effects. I've recently watched the Kill Bill films too, so they're also up there with my favourites!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
I'd invent a machine that makes me unlimited money.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
What makes me distinctly different is that I make sure I understand the motivations of people moving jobs. Understanding motivations can sometimes open up opportunities people hadn't previously thought of.

The Role

Business Development Executive, £30K - £35K + Bonus, Central London

Would you like to work for a leading provider of specialist data, business intelligence and insight to pharmaceutical companies across the globe?

 

The Company

Has a valuable portfolio of subscription products providing business critical data to an array of medium to large pharmaceutical companies, large Biotech's, Clinical trial organisations and financial institutions

  • Have offices around the globe

  • Continually invest and develop in their gold standard products

  • They pride themselves on looking after their employees - they offer exceptional on the job training/development and set achievable targets (to ensure the sales team are earning consistent bonuses)

 

The Role

  • Work towards daily / monthly KPI's and achieve company revenue targets

  • Present and negotiate up to board level

  • Grow already existing accounts by up-selling and cross selling the companies range of products and services

  • Build strong and lasting client relationships, selling on a transactional basis

  • Develop and maintain sales strategies

  • Update account information in Salesforce.com

 

You

  • Have experience in a business development environment (2 years ideally)

  • Have knowledge of Pharmaceutical business intelligence

  • Will be highly motivated - be able to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets

  • Are well organised and be able to prioritise tasks

  • Have a customer centric approach and have excellent customer management skills

  • Have excellent interpersonal and commination skills
