How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Account Director- Independent Healthcare Advertising Agency- Central London- £50k-£60k

 

The Company

Although relatively new, this ambitious independent healthcare advertising agency has burst onto the scene and is looking for an Account Director to join their ranks.

The Role

This Account Director role will require someone with extensive experience in the area of healthcare communications.

  • Working in close collaboration with Directors to provide guidance to clients.

  • Build strong client relationships, you will be the key contact between client and agency. It is important to manage client expectation and to guide them through the process so they have a key understanding of timeframes and deliverables.

  • Be responsible for ensuring that profitability is maintained on each project and to generate forecasts on a quarterly basis with the Directors.

  • Working with the agencies creative staff and project managers to help bring individual project element plans together to produce overall project plans.

  • Aid in the development of members of the agency more junior to you.

 

You

As well as a passion for producing compelling communications for healthcare audiences:

  • You should be an ambitious Senior Account Manager or experienced Account Director with previous agency experience.

  • You should have a high level of experience in domestic and international prescription medicine campaigns.

  • You will be expected to have brilliant communication, organisation, leadership and time management skills.

  • You should have a meticulous attention to detail.

  • You should be dedicated to cultivating meaningful relationships across both the agency and the client portfolio.
