How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward thinking, strategic individual who has a drive to be a major part of creative communications in health. As a Healthcare Account Director your main responsibility is the management of the day-to-day running of client accounts. You will be responsible for:

  • Forging strong, lasting relationships with clients whilst assisting in the development of new business generation.

  • Providing clear and accurate briefings to all personnel tasked with project implementation.

  • Owning the communication strategy and influence clients to achieve strategic objectives.

  • Taking a leadership role and being responsible for staffing, managing and leading designated account teams.



As well as being passionate about Healthcare Communications, in order to succeed in this role, you should be an established Account Director with experience leading large scale global campaigns.

  • You will hold a degree in a life science subject.

  • You will have excellent time management skills to achieve deadlines and prioritise tasks.

  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • You will have had the opportunity in the past to work on projects involving European/global ethical brands.
