How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Account Director - Healthcare Advertising - London - £55k - £65k


The Company

This agency is leading the way in providing a fully integrated communications solution for their clients. They continue to deliver consistent and cohesive communications across all areas of the marketing mix on a global basis. They are currently looking for an experienced Account Director to join their team.

The Role

Due to continued growth, a number of new business wins and a need for a leader to help their team grow - my client is in need of an experienced Account Director to join their team and help drive their business forward. Along with other responsibilities, you will be required to:

  • Contribute to the overall goal of producing compelling communications for a range of healthcare audiences.

  • Build lasting relationships with clients, acting as a key link between agency and the client, providing strategic guidance and identifying further opportunities to grow.

  • Work closely with internal teams to assist with pitch preparation, project management and mentoring of junior members of the client services team.



Along with a background in life sciences, you will bring a knowledge of running health related campaigns and have 5 years' experience of working within an agency.

  • You will have a thirst for knowledge, interest and desire to work in the ever-changing world of healthcare.

  • A strong understanding of digital platforms and experience of working closely with creative and tech teams to deliver successful campaigns.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Effective problem-solving abilities and skilled at applying strategic thinking to translate insights into actionable ideas for clients.
