How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Account Director - Healthcare PR - London - £50k - £60k


The Company

One of the largest communications businesses in the UK are looking to expand their London office. With a fantastic reputation in the market, they are looking for a creative and intelligent Account Director to join them and work on a number of global healthcare accounts.

The Role

As an Account Director, your key responsibility will be to manage and implement PR plans effectively and efficiently to meet clients needs. As Account Director, you will be taking accountability for the management of programmes and client relationships.

  • You will project manage programmes to ensure they meet the brief, budget and deadlines

  • You will have the opportunity to take control and ownership of innovative healthcare PR campaigns and will help to build a team of account managers to support the ever-growing team

  • Get involved in the pitch process and actively help the new business team build a network of media contacts.



You'll have experience of account handling gained within healthcare PR, with a real interest in working in a more creative, integrated environment. This role will be perfect for a Senior Account Manager or Account Director who has media relations experience but who enjoys the challenge of a more integrated approach. As they are an ambitious agency and you'll be playing a vital role in delivering their award-winning campaigns and developing the business further.

You will work across a range of UK and global accounts.
