Medical Communications & Medical Education - roles include Medical Writers, Account Managers, Project Coordinators and Editoral Assistants. 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Attending events and meeting candidates and clients is a fantastic way of engaging with my sector and really getting to know people, companies and their motivations. This, alongside keeping up-to-date with MedComms Networking and PMLive articles. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I'm not the biggest of movie buffs but one of my favourites is Lars Von Trier's 'Dancer in the Dark'. It stars Bjork and I'm quite a big Bjork fan!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I would invent a mode of transport which is, essentially, a large rollercoaster. It would make my commute to work that bit more enjoyable.

I try not to make assumptions on people and get to know everyone on an individual basis.

Account Manager - Healthcare Communications Agency - London - Up to £40k DOE


The Company

My client is a Medical Communications giant with locations spanning the globe - from UK, to North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. They provide a highly scientific service with all team members having a life-sciences background. The agency is split into smaller subsidiaries each comprising their own specialism, providing both a specific focus and a large variety of projects.

  • Providing full-spectrum medical communications - preclinical to beyond launch

  • Working with 17 of the top 20 pharma companies

  • Areas expanding due to recent wins - work in exciting areas like diabetes and neurology

The Role

My client are seeking an Account Manager to provide full support for their exciting array of products

  • Working closely with clients in order to ensure strong relationships are maintained

  • Working with the production teams on projects to make sure timelines are met

  • Working on a range of deliverables including events and medical educational materials

  • Strategic planning and guidance

  • Some business development support when necessary



We are seeking an enthusiastic, scientific go-getter to hit the group running and flexible and able to focus on multiple tasks at one time

  • Excellent management skills and the ability to lead a team

  • Strong delivery and time management skills

  • Efficient and well organised

  • Bsc in a life sciences degree is essential for this role; a Msc or PhD? Even better!
