How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Account Manager - Digital Healthcare Agency - London - £30k - £35k

 

The Company

This lovely client is an award winning digital healthcare agency that specialise in delivering performance driven digital solutions to a number of top 20 UK pharmaceutical companies. Part of a larger group of agencies but acting very much independently, this is a brilliant opportunity for someone with agency experience to take on a more varied role with some exciting clients.

  • They develop digital solutions that drive their clients business.

  • They work on a range of creative projects from brand awareness to social media engagement.

  • A fantastic client services team that work in collaboration for some of the best pharmaceutical companies around.

  • Modern offices in central London close to a number of great restaurants, shops and bars.

 

The Role

Due to organic growth and new business wins, this agency is looking for an ambitious Account Manager to be responsible for a number of significant UK accounts. Working closely with clients and internal teams, the Account Manager will be responsible for developing digital strategies for different brands across a range of digital channels.

  • Working with a number of emerging technologies, email marketing, mobile apps, video/web creation.

  • Acting as a strategic partner and advise clients on the importance of digital moving forward.

  • Building lasting relationships with the agencies clients whilst identifying opportunities to develop new business.

  • Taking on a range of responsibilities that would be associated with a traditional account manager within a healthcare communications agency.

 

You

As well as being passionate about health-related communications and having a strong understanding of the importance of digital within healthcare, you will also:

  • Have 2 years in account handling within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, especially across UK accounts.

  • Be able to demonstrate an appreciation of different brands within multiple therapeutic areas.

  • Be confident in your abilities to plan activities across the full brand lifecycle.

  • Posses excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident in presenting and acting as a key contact within the agency.

  • Have a thorough understanding of ABPI.
