Regular communication with candidates and clients within the industry helps to keep me on top of the latest news and trends. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and get out to many networking events. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I'm struggling to choose just one! I'm a big fan of the Bond films and of course love a good rom-com! 

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

A real Bernard's Watch! Pausing time whenever you choose would be so cool!

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I enjoy acting and have starred in a variety of TV shows - some involving a lot of prosthetics! I also have a background in Biochemistry.

Account Manager - Healthcare Communications - London - £Competitive

Based in London, this company are an independent award-winning healthcare advertising agency that puts creative, compelling copy at the heart of what they do.

The Role

As an Account Manager at this agency, you will play a vital part of ensuring the smooth running of their projects. You will be contributing to the overall goal of producing compelling communications for healthcare audiences.

  • Build and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with clients, acting as the link between them and the agency.

  • Set and manage client expectations of timeframes and deliverables.

  • Anticipate/manage client issues and make amends if needed.

  • Work closely with project managers and creative staff to plan individual project elements and help bring these together on overall project plans.

  • Work with project managers to manage work flow through the agency and external suppliers, highlighting flashpoints so these can be effectively managed.

  • Ensure QC is always maintained.

  • Attend client meetings, pitches and training as appropriate.

  • Help in the development and progression of junior members of staff.

 

You

To apply for this role as an Account Manager our clients is hoping for someone with a background in science along with 2 years' experience working in a healthcare communications agency.

  • You will have some experience of attending and presenting at client pitches.

  • You will have fantastic verbal and written communication skills.

  • You will have a solid understanding and a real passion for health-related communications.

  • You will have strong people management skills including influencing and nurturing skills.
