Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

We are currently working with such an agency that ticks all the boxes who are looking for a talented and passionate Senior Account Director / Associate Director to join their team. This agency provides its staff with the opportunity to work on a range of different projects which keeps things fresh, its specialisms include Rx, OTC and Consumer Healthcare.

The Role

It is an exciting time for this agency as recent pitch wins means that their team is expanding. Due to year on year growth and a number of new business wins, my client is seeking an experienced individual to help guide the agency and grow both existing teams and accounts. Supporting the Managing Director in the development of creative briefs and ensuring that reasonable client expectations of deliverables and timeframes are set and then managed through the entire process.

  • Working alongside project managers to reconcile costs/time at the end of each month or project and prepare invoices accordingly to ensure that profitability is maintained on each project.

  • Understanding that the agency's staff are their greatest asset and therefore nurturing and supporting more junior members of the client services and project management teams in order to aid their professional development.

  • Not only having a leading role in developing business with existing clients, but also recognising new business opportunities and driving efforts to successfully convert these opportunities too.

 

You

Along with a background in life sciences, you will bring a knowledge of running health related campaigns and have 5 years' experience of working within an agency. You will have a thirst for knowledge, interest and desire to work in the ever-changing world of healthcare communications.

  • A strong understanding of digital platforms and experience of working closely with creative and tech teams to deliver successful campaigns.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Effective problem-solving abilities and skilled at applying strategic thinking to translate insights into actionable ideas for clients.
