How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Client Partner - Healthcare Advertising Agency - London - £40k - £45k

They work with a number of top pharma companies on award winning campaigns on both a local and global scale. For over 10 years now this creative agency has been producing powerful brand communications to transform behaviours and revitalise brands.

The Role

Due to new business wins and continued organic growth, my client is looking to bring on board an experienced account manager to act as client partner across a range of different accounts. You will play a crucial role in developing existing accounts and identifying areas to grow whilst offering the best possible service to your clients.

  • You will forge strong, lasting relationships and be responsible for developing the strategic direction for the client's healthcare brands.

  • Collaborate with project management and creative teams to ensure that brand strategy and tactics are being met on time and to budget.

  • Demonstrate a true understanding of clients needs and assist in producing creative briefs.

  • Provide effective line management, mentoring and act as a role model to more junior members of staff.

  • Display a passion for the industry you work on and help to make the client a leader within creative healthcare communications.

 

You

Along with 3 years' experience in an account management position you should be able to demonstrate a passion for health-related communication, have an understanding on how a healthcare advertising agency operates and:

  • Have an ability to make intelligent and informed decisions on behalf of the business, whilst knowing when to escalate issues or decisions to the Managing Director.

  • Have excellent written and verbal communications skills and be experienced and confident in presenting and conducting training sessions.

  • Have Account Management experience from a multichannel Healthcare Communications agency, with good knowledge of digital campaigns, and an interest in digital.

  • Be enthusiastic about the fact that as a Client Partner at this agency you will have a real responsibility in helping them to meet their lofty ambitions and further cement their reputation as a trusted name in this industry.
