How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Attending events and meeting candidates and clients is a fantastic way of engaging with my sector and really getting to know people, companies and their motivations. This, alongside keeping up-to-date with MedComms Networking and PMLive articles. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I'm not the biggest of movie buffs but one of my favourites is Lars Von Trier's 'Dancer in the Dark'. It stars Bjork and I'm quite a big Bjork fan!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I would invent a mode of transport which is, essentially, a large rollercoaster. It would make my commute to work that bit more enjoyable.

Events Manager - Medical Communications - London - Up to £40 DOE

My client are an independent, ambitious Events agency that have recently celebrated their 25th birthday. The key to their success has been the quality, integrity and commitment they invest into all of their projects. Comprised of 2D and 3D creative teams, technical production, account management and logistics, they are truly a collaborative team, forging global delivery yet retaining their independence.

The Role

As an Events Account Manager, you will sit within the Logistics arm of the business, comprehensively managing all of the 'nuts of bolts' that go into creating industry leading Pharmaceutical events.

  • Working across congress, exhibitions, satellite-symposia and round-tables

  • Managing projects schedules, budgeting, delivery planning and resource

  • Monitoring and tracking progress and financial management

  • Fully understand client objectives, providing creative input as needed

  • Travel and providing quality on-site support

 

You

You will be an ambitious and driven Events Manager, with strong logistics experience, who is experienced within the Pharmaceutical sector and looking to make a real impact and add value to an independent organisation

  • Demonstrable logistics Events Manager experience

  • MUST have experience within Pharma, across congresses, exhibitions, satellite-symposia and other meetings

  • Methodical and organised, able to manage multiple projects at once

  • Excellent communicator, and a strong team player
