How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Account Director or experienced Senior Account Manager to join an agency with a strong ethos that is really going places. You will be working across various therapy areas including Oncology, Haematology, Anti-infective's, Respiratory and a number of ethical brands.

  • Taking a lead role in the delivering of proposals and presentations to clients.

  • Leading and managing various traditional marketing communication programmes through digital media.

  • Brand development, strategic planning & positioning and a range of other multi-channel marketing techniques.

  • Forming of strong relationships with clients and building a high level of trust and confidence in the agency.

 

You

As a Digital Account Director, you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Senior Account Manager position and 4 years in healthcare communications.

  • You will have a solid understanding and a real passion for pharmaceutical and health related communication.

  • You will have an intuitive understanding of a client's needs and objectives to assist with marketing strategies.

  • Strong working knowledge of a range of digital platforms.

  • Experience of managing other members of staff including influencing and nurturing skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
