How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

The Role

  • As a member of the Account Handling team the new Account Manager will have instant exposure to working on some truly inspiring projects and campaigns for their clients.

  • This major account requires a multi-tasker who can take ownership of the account and develop on-going relationships with a range of healthcare clients.

  • A crucial part of this role is to take the lead and spearhead the preparation and presentation of proposals / materials / presentations to clients.

  • Work closely with creative and tech teams to develop and ensure accurate project financials.

  • You will be responsible for identifying and actively pursuing new business ventures and opportunities to grow existing accounts.

  • You will help with the continued development of Account Executives and help prepare them for roles with greater responsibility.

 

You

  • Along with a science related degree, you will bring a knowledge of running digital campaigns with 3 years' experience of working in a creative agency.

  • You will have a thirst for knowledge, interest and desire to work in the ever-changing world of healthcare.

  • A strong understanding of digital platforms and experience of working closely with creative and tech teams to deliver successful campaigns.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Effective problem solving abilities and skilled at applying strategic thinking to translate insights into actionable ideas for clients.
