The Role

As a Healthcare Account Manager your main responsibility is the management of the day-to-day running of client accounts. You will be responsible for:

  • Remaining in regular contact with clients in order to update them on campaign or project progress, and manage any changes to planned activities that may occur.

  • Accurate estimating and billing along with having an awareness of budgetary status always to ensure account budgets are not exceeded to maintain project profitability.

  • Working with the Account Director to develop opportunities for growing existing business and participate in new business drive by helping to develop new business pitches.

  • Provide clear and accurate briefings to all personnel tasked with project implementation.



As well as being passionate about Healthcare Communications, in order to be suitable for this role you will have experience at the senior account executive or account manager level from either a medical communications or healthcare advertising agency.

  • You will hold a degree in a life science subject.

  • You will have excellent time management skills to achieve deadlines and prioritise tasks.

  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • You will have had the opportunity in the past to work on projects involving European/global ethical brands.

  • You should have good knowledge of media, both traditional and social, research and compiling media lists, collating and measuring coverage.

What's your favourite film and why?

Tim Burton's Big Fish has to be my go-to film of choice. An over the top, fantastical and emotional story of epic proportions full of weird and quirky touches...escapism at it's finest!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

If I could invent one thing it would be to make the Replicator from Star Trek a reality - I love food but hate cooking after a busy day in the office so this would be ideal!
