How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Mainly by keeping in touch with my candidates and clients on a daily basis. I also follow groups on LinkedIn and I am always on the look out for new market information.

What's your favourite film and why?

American Gangster - you can't beat a good Denzil Washington film.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

Definitely a teleportation machine. I would love to be able to go anywhere in the world at any time. Also, if it meant I could avoid flying that would be great!

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I have a Texan dog called Shelby who I got while working in America. She hasn't got used to the UK weather yet!
