Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

They are an innovative, independent strategic marketing consultancy, specialising in the world of pharma and healthcare. For over 15 years they have been working with global pharmaceutical brands in over 30 countries, helping to change behaviours and beliefs in healthcare. The Role

As a Senior Account Director, you will be responsible for managing large scale projects across a range of accounts whilst also actively driving new business forward.

  • Develop and lead a team of 4 client service staff through exceptional strategic thinking.

  • Ensure that accurate communication is maintained between client, account teams and studio staff.

  • Be responsible for ensuring the quality of creative concepts are in line with client expectations against the brief.

  • Take responsibility for the strategy of various brands and identify areas of improvement through close liaison with planning teams.

  • Become the trusted partner for clients and act as an expert in the brands and therapeutic areas you work on.

 

You

As well as having a strong educational background in a life sciences discipline, previous experiences as an Account Director / Senior Account Director within a healthcare communications agency and solid knowledge of account management best practice, you will also:

  • Have experience of co-ordinating teams to deliver on multichannel creative campaigns.

  • Have previous knowledge of working on projects from conceptional development through to tactical delivery

  • Be a leader and enjoy the challenges of leading a team and helping junior members of staff to develop.

  • Have conference experience including booth development for international congresses.

  • An understanding of different therapeutic areas with a particular interest in Oncology.
