How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

The Role

  • Due to strong backing and some exciting pitch wins, this boutique agency is looking to add a driven senior account manager to their successful account handling team and help them grow as a world leading agency.

  • A crucial part of this role is to gain a deep understanding of clients and further develop existing relationships.

  • Take the lead and spearhead the preparation and presentation of proposals / materials / presentations to clients.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for growth of existing accounts.

  • Work alongside the Account Director, creative and tech teams to ensure of accurate project financials.

  • Be a leader and get the best out of Account Executives and Account Managers and help in developing them for roles with greater responsibility.

 

You

As a Senior Account Manager you will have a minimum of 12 months experience as an Account Manager and 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • You will have a solid understanding and a real passion for pharmaceutical and health related communications.

  • You will have an intuitive understanding of a client's needs and objectives to assist marketing strategies.

  • Strong people management skills including influencing and nurturing skills.

  • Proven successful new business pitch abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
