How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager or experienced Senior Account Manager to join an agency with a strong ethos that is really going places.

  • Taking a lead role in the delivering of proposals and presentations to clients.

  • Forming of strong relationships with clients and building a high level of trust and confidence in the agency.

  • The seeking out and pursuance of opportunities for growth of existing accounts.

  • Communication with the Account Director and creative teams to ensure accurate estimates are provided to clients.

  • Manage upwards as well as downwards and mentor Account Executives and Account Managers so in time they can take on greater responsibilities.

 

You

As well as a passion for healthcare communications and a positive energetic attitude:

  • You should have at least 12 months experience as an Account Manager or 3 years experience within a pharmaceutical marketing related role.

  • You should have a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical and health related issues.

  • You should have effective interpersonal and communications skills.

  • You should have some experience, attending, preparing and presenting pitches.

  • You should have great organisational and solid financial management skills.
