How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

A large, renowned healthcare communications agency whose clients are all major blue-chip pharma companies are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their team. They work on a varied set of healthcare accounts including oncology, haemophilia, cardiovascular and diabetes.

The Role

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be given the opportunity to work on a range of exciting therapeutic areas and to take leadership on the execution of crucial projects. Some of your responsibilities may include:

  • Effectively managing the workload of your team.

  • Providing support to the Group Account Director.

  • Developing strong client relationships that are viewed by both sides as a partnership.

  • Researching subject areas and developments relevant to account areas to help identify and plan potential new projects.



As well as having a passion for health-related communications an ideal candidate would be experienced at Senior Account Manager level. Along with this:

  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • You will have had the opportunity in the past to work on projects involving European/global ethical brands.

  • You will be a real team player with experience of mentoring team members in the past and carrying out performance reviews.

  • You will preferably have some experience of working on digital accounts.
