How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

The Role

As a Senior Account Manager, you are responsible for maintaining client relationships, understanding their business and multi-channel marketing requirements and developing bespoke strategic solutions across a range of exciting campaigns. You'll use insight to develop a strategy and a plan to ensure your client is making the most of their marketing budget.

  • Project management with a focus on clients, internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and are of high quality.

  • Developing multichannel strategies and tactical plans against highly creative briefs.

  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships and establishing specific client needs and requirements in order to draft detailed briefs.

 

You

As well as being an excellent communicator you will have a real passion for health-related sciences and have an understanding of digital campaigns and a range of multichannel marketing techniques.

  • You will have a proven track record in healthcare communications or a similar industry.

  • A keen eye for detail and motivation to bring the best out of junior members of staff.

  • You will be a friendly individual eager to build on your current skill set.

  • You will have fantastic written and verbal communication skills.

  • You will be a creative superstar and love giving your input to campaigns that have a massive impact on people's lives.
