The Role

A young yet highly respected company are looking for an experienced Account Director to help shape the future of business and expand on their incredible success to date. Looking for more autonomy and playing a part in making business decisions?

 

The Company

Located in really creative, modern offices. Think beer and prosecco on tap, table tennis on the roof terrace, cool break out areas and glass walled meeting rooms.

  • Desirable location in central London within a really short walk of the nearest tube station

  • Cover a wide range of services from events to publications, digital information, ad boards, including recording podcasts from a TV studio

  • Offer more hybrid responsibilities compared to many other agencies, including travel to a range of desirable, international locations

  • Cover various therapy areas including oncology, immunology, neuroscience and rare diseases to name a few

 

The Role

You will have a large input into the business, working closely alongside the three Directors, leading and developing the team. You will be responsible for:

  • Your own key accounts, building these client relationships and effectively managing projects ensuring delivery of the highest standards

  • Developing growth with existing clients by identifying opportunities to promote the full range of services on offer, and having awareness of new business opportunities

  • Developing clear strategic business plans for your key accounts

  • Inspiring and motivating the wider team, including mentoring and line management of more junior team members

 

You

In order to make a successful application to the Account Director role, you will be able to hit the ground running and therefore able to demonstrate:

  • Experience managing £500k accounts

  • Substantial experience in a similar role within a healthcare communications agency environment

  • Successful track record of managing client accounts, on a national and international basis

  • Strong project management skills, managing strict deadlines and budgets

  • Success in new business and organic existing business growthAmbition and drive!
