Which area do you specialise in?

Medical Communications & Medical Education - roles include Medical Writers, Account Managers, Project Coordinators and Editoral Assistants. 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Attending events and meeting candidates and clients is a fantastic way of engaging with my sector and really getting to know people, companies and their motivations. This, alongside keeping up-to-date with MedComms Networking and PMLive articles. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I'm not the biggest of movie buffs but one of my favourites is Lars Von Trier's 'Dancer in the Dark'. It stars Bjork and I'm quite a big Bjork fan!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I would invent a mode of transport which is, essentially, a large rollercoaster. It would make my commute to work that bit more enjoyable.

I try not to make assumptions on people and get to know everyone on an individual basis.

Events Manager / Events Director - Healthcare Communications Agency - London - Up to £60k DOE

The Role

  • Manage project scheduling, budgeting, delivery planning, resource and procurement relationship

  • Ensure that every aspect of any event is delivered to exceed client expectations

  • Attend, contribute to and record client meetings

  • Grow relationships with third party agencies

  • Promote Visual Response and its services



  • Experience within a Healthcare agency

  • Demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical events, including conferences, congress and symposia

  • A positive, approachable client-facing demeanour

  • Experience in budget handling and good financial expertise

  • Some production experience (having liaised with in-house studio teams)
