Medical Communications and Medical Education 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector? 

By keeping lively on LinkedIn, reading articles and posts from thought leaders in the sector, as well as keeping on top of articles from BBC Health, PMLive and similar sites. That, and making sure I am talking to candidates and clients all the time and listening to what they say! The best teachers are those who live their industry on a daily basis. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I'd probably have to go with Shawshank, there's no feelgood ending quite like it and I think we all wish Morgan Freeman was around narrating our lives. Either that or the Truman Show, because that's just a great story. Tough to choose! 

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd have to go with some kind of device that makes all my favourite junk foods good for you without affecting the taste! If it wasn't for the fear of losing my teeth I'd eat a terrifying amount of chocolate!

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I'm a big history nerd and could talk for hours about a bunch of different subjects - be careful not to get me started! 


The Role

Senior Account Manager - £47k - Central London


The Company

Our Global client based in central London offer an outstanding combination of established marketing, creative and scientific expertise. They are an international healthcare strategy and communications boutique working with Clients at a Global, EU and local level. A rapidly growing agency, unique offering, integrated communication solutions for their Clients.


The Role

  • Provide Clients with high quality service through effective client handling and account, financial and project management

  • Business development within existing account and supporting senior team in new business development

  • Managing and tracking account team contributions, manage multiple projects as required

  • Line managements and/or mentoring of AEs and other Juniors

  • Responsible for strategic account delivery



  • 5 - 6 years' experience within healthcare communications/advertising/promotional is a MUST

  • Experience working on global accounts

  • Ideally a life science degree

  • Ability to co-ordinate the delivery of multiple projects with a high degree of autonomy

  • Good knowledge of company processes
