How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Junior Copywriter - Healthcare Advertising - London - £30k


The Company

A fantastic full-service healthcare communications agency with a focus on strategy, creativity and innovation. They work with a number of top pharma companies on award winning campaigns on both a local and global scale. For over 10 years now this creative agency has been producing powerful brand communications to transform behaviours and revitalise brands.

The Role

Due to new business wins and continued organic growth, my client is looking to bring on board junior copywriter to work on a range of different promotional accounts. You will play a crucial role developing both conceptional ideas and creative copy for all items within the group.

  • To work closely with the head of copy and client services team to produce accurate and compelling copy materials for the group.

  • Play an active part in art direction and work closely with Art Directors on providing a range of initial concepts for every brief.

  • Produce a detailed reference pack for every new job that goes out to clients.

  • To immerse yourself in relevant research and papers around the particular brands.

  • Act as a key liaison between client service teams and the in-house studio.



To be successful in this role, you should be a dynamic, ambitious and curious junior copywriter with a drive to succeed in a role as part of a successful team.

  • You should have a passion for creativity and enjoy participating in the creative process.

  • You will have 1-2 years' experience in a healthcare advertising or medical communications agency

  • You will have the ability to work independently but also as part of a close-knit team.

  • You will have fantastic skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and have a familiarity with ABPI guidelines.
