How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

The Role

This Medical Copywriter role is a fantastic opportunity. It would really give you the opportunity to have a large brand impact. Some of your responsibilities may include:

  • Working alongside the rest of the creative team to translate complex ideas and processes into compelling copy.

  • Producing content aimed at a variety of customer and target audiences.

  • Presenting work to clients and actively contributing to client-facing meetings.

  • Researching of relevant products or disease areas in order to meet client briefs.

  • Referencing accurately and inputting into databases.



Along with a passion for communicating science to be successful in this role:

  • You will have previous writing experience in a healthcare communications agency, ideally an advertising agency.

  • You will hold a degree qualification in a life sciences subject.

  • You will have some experience working on both digital and non-digital accounts.

  • You will be an excellent verbal and written communicator.

  • You will be a good team player and accomplished collaborator.
