How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

By being in regular contact with candidates and clients within my sector and attending networking events is invaluable in staying up-to-date. Also PMLive, BBC Health and LinkedIn are key tools. Because of my background studying science I have a keen interest in staying informed and up-to-date with any advancements in the sector.

What's your favourite film and why?

Pulp Fiction! It's Tarantino at his best. Great cast, great soundtrack and a great storyline which keeps you on your toes with its intertwining arcs. It's rightfully a cult classic.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

A teleportation device. In would enable me to visit incredible locations around the world without having to deal with the hassle of long haul flights. So many amazing places to visit, so little time!

Medical Writer - Creative Independent Agency - Central London - £30k


The Company

A multi award winning, London based, independent Healthcare Advertising agency is looking for a Medical Writer to join their team. They are a smaller independent agency where your efforts and hard work will be recognised and rewarded. You will get a real input in the direction the agency takes as they actively encourage employees to express their opinions.

The Role

This Medical Writer role will truly put you at the centre of the agency's scientific and creative work as you work alongside the other members of the copy team. Some of your duties may include:

  • Liaising with clients as required

  • Conducting research for pitch and proposal preparation

  • Communicating and presenting complex scientific ideas in a clear and concise manner.

  • Creating compelling and innovative copy.



This agency has big ideas and because of that works on a range of varied and exciting projects which will allow for variety within the role. This is an incredibly exciting time to join them. In order to be a good match for this role:

  • You will have a minimum of two years medical writing experience in a healthcare advertising agency.

  • You will hold a life science degree.

  • You will have an extensive knowledge of the ABPI code of practice.

  • You will have a real passion for healthcare communications.
