By speaking and meeting with candidates on a regular basis to keep up-to-date with new products and projects. 

What's your favourite film and why? 

There are too many good films to mention just one! Some noteable ones are Looking for Sugarman, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, and It's a Wonderful Life! Although these days I spend more of my time watching Disney Princess films with my daughters. 

If you could invent one thing what would it be? 

It's cliched but a cure for all child ailments.

The Role

Key Account Representative | Global Pharma Co. | East London & Essex | £competitive

 

The Company

We are recruiting for a Global Pharma Company that has a varied product portfolio across several different therapy areas. They have a fantastic opportunity to join their successful diabetes team covering East London & Essex territory as a Key Account Representative working across Primary and Secondary Care. It is working on their existing portfolio of Blood Glucose monitors plus their recently launched innovative Glucose Monitoring device.

 

The Role

  • Within this Key Account Representative role, you will work autonomously across the territory and will be responsible for promoting a market leading diabetes portfolio in a well-developed environment.

  • You will be promoting a new Diabetes Monitor within both Primary and Secondary care, where the KOL's and influential diabetes consultants are situated.

  • The role will also involve meetings with GPwSI in Diabetes.

  • You will utilise your account planning skills to ensure maximum efficiency over territory coverage

  • To proactively identify potential barriers to prescription & then position and sell the company's products within new or existing NHS guidelines

 

You

To be the right fit for this role as a Key Account Representative, you will:

  • Have experience within the Diabetes therapy area.

  • You will ideally have a good background in Primary care - ideally with some secondary care experience however this is flexible and have proven success in gaining formulary inclusions.

  • You will be tenacious and resilient sales person that has a thorough understanding of the National Health Service.

  • This role would ideally suit a driven, innovative individual with a dynamic approach to account planning and work.

  • New drug launch experience is preferred, but flexible on the specifics.

  • ABPI preferred, but flexible.
