Medical Communications & Medical Education - roles include Medical Writers, Account Managers, Project Coordinators and Editoral Assistants. 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Attending events and meeting candidates and clients is a fantastic way of engaging with my sector and really getting to know people, companies and their motivations. This, alongside keeping up-to-date with MedComms Networking and PMLive articles. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I'm not the biggest of movie buffs but one of my favourites is Lars Von Trier's 'Dancer in the Dark'. It stars Bjork and I'm quite a big Bjork fan!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I would invent a mode of transport which is, essentially, a large rollercoaster. It would make my commute to work that bit more enjoyable.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I try not to make assumptions on people and get to know everyone on an individual basis.

The Role

A Medical Writer role providing the opportunity to engage with a dynamic array of highly-scientific and creative materials for a global client-base

  • A variety of media, including slides, manuscripts, posters, meeting reports, websites and apps

  • Interesting therapy areas including women's health, metabolic disorders and neuroscience

  • Sustaining successful client relationships - travelling to client meetings as needed

  • Providing creative and strategic input to project development

 

You

You will be a determined and career-focused Medical Writer, looking for more variety in their role or feeling they may have hit a ceiling in their current organisation.

  • Proven track record as a Medical Writer - 1 year's experience

  • A track record of meticulous organisation and time management

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • A can-do attitude and approachable, client-facing demeanour

  • Life-sciences background - PhD desirable
