What's your favourite film and why?
I don't really watch films. Does Corrie count??

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
A chocolate-making machine that would be a normal household object to be used daily, like a toaster.

Scientific Director responsible for the scientific and strategic excellence across a number of accounts within the business unit. Based in London, Buckinghamshire or Cheshire, this Scientific Leadership role will pay upwards of £85k DOE.

The Role

Highly visible Scientific Leader to all clients and KOL's, responsible for the scientific and strategic excellence across multiple accounts within their business unit.

  • Expert understanding of client science and strategy, keeping up to date with medical and scientific advances.
  • Lead scientific discussions internally and externally with credibility and authority.
  • Can involve line management of a Principal Medical Writer and Scientific Medical Writer if the applicants wants line management, but it doesn't necessarily have to be part of the role.
  • Senior point of contact with clients ensuring a high level scientific and strategic partnership.
  • Drive growth and lead the development and delivery of new business proposals and pitches.
  • Mentor and coach the team, both writers and accounts, to understand and confidently communicate around client science and strategy.
