By speaking and meeting with candidates on a regular basis to keep up-to-date with new products and projects. 

What's your favourite film and why? 

There are too many good films to mention just one! Some noteable ones are Looking for Sugarman, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, and It's a Wonderful Life! Although these days I spend more of my time watching Disney Princess films with my daughters. 

If you could invent one thing what would it be? 

It's cliched but a cure for all child ailments.

The Company

Seeking a new challenge and want to be part of a highly skilled, successful and autonomous sales team? Are you looking for an exciting and dynamic therapy area to work in? Do you want to work for a company that's expanding rather than restructuring? Our client is a Global Pharmaceutical Company within Ophthalmology and has an established portfolio. Due to the success of their current products, they are expanding their sales team and are seeking a highly successful and competent Hospital Specialist to join their small sales force to cover Central London.

 

The Role

Within this role as a Hospital Specialist you will be responsible for leading your territory completely autonomously, and left to go out and hold the conversations with the people you believe will best benefit the company and sales.

  • You will promote a portfolio of ophthalmology products all within secondary care and be involved in a continuing a brand new launch.

  • You will be required to do Stakeholder Mapping across the area whilst also prioritising your accounts effectively to maximise impact.

  • You will be responsible for managing, developing and growing relationships with existing customers and implementing any projects or marketing that you think will be effective in driving the business.

 

You

As a candidate you will be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and be able discuss, in detail, when you have worked on established accounts but also how you brought on new business.

  • This role requires excellent business planning.

  • You will be self-motivated and have secondary care experience.

  • Excellent and up to date NHS knowledge and a willingness to be entrepreneurial and innovative are key requirements for this role.

  • Our client is looking for someone that has genuine passion for sales and thrives in working autonomously and sharing best practice with the team.

  • Ideally, you will have worked within Ophthalmology although this is not essential.
