Market Access, Health Economics & Value Comms 

Which area do you specialise in?

I specialise in mid to senior level appointments across all disciplines within the Market Access / HEOR field. I manage roles both on the permanent and interim basis. 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

First and foremost, we are kept up to date by speaking day in, day out to candidates and clients alike - information from an internal perspective is highly valuable to us in terms of gauging how best to approach resourcing. Reading industry press and engaging in online discussions certainly keeps us on top of wider topics. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I have many favourite films: Home Alone at Christmas time, any James Bond films (especially Skyfall) for a bit of action but, ultimately, I LOVE How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Maybe not the best film ever but one that reminds me of really good times with all my best friends. 

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I have yet to find anything that keeps my young daughter still and engaged for over 5 minutes, so my invention would be a remote control-style device that allows me to pause her in time - allowing me to make and enjoyably drink a full cup of tea with no distractions!

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

One of my little fingers is 7mm shorter than the other!

Director, Market Access. Market Access Consulting firm. Central London. £100-120k basic (DOE) package and bonus element. A truly wonderful opportunity to join the London contingent of this large global firm as they grow in response to increased business development.

 

The Company

This specialist Market Access Consulting firm are a global name who are recognised for their services in payer insights and strategy, HEOR, value demonstration and managed markets/marketing strategy within the Pharma and Devices field. The role of Director, Market Access, will join the 12 strong, central London based team who are rapidly growing due to ongoing success. The UK team largely specialise in European market projects although much of this work feeds into the Global market work of the wider business.

A great, personable team who work very collaboratively to ensure their collective experience ensures a high quality of delivery.

 

The Role

In position of Director, Market Access, you will be responsible for managing and delivering multiple, large global projects simultaneously. This will include:

  • Maintaining and nurturing client relationships both throughout a project delivery process and in respect of new and repeat business opportunity.
  • Managing a project team and also allocated staff members as a reporting line.
  • Leading primary research with global payers, key opinion leaders, physicians, and patients alongside synthesizing insight and recommendations from primary and secondary research.
  • Holding responsibility for the monitoring and quality of output.
  • Utilising expertise for leading on the development of products, services and pitches.
  • Leading on other practise initiatives such as marketing, recruitment, training

 

You

In order to make a successful application to this Director, Market Accessposition, you MUST demonstrate:

  • A Bachelor's/ Master's degree/PhD in Science, Economics, Business or a related field
  • Expertise in global pricing and market access, developed via experience in healthcare consulting
  • A strong track record in managing successful healthcare consulting projects, including excellent project and team management skills
  • Experience in developing new business and nurturing existing relationships to meet internal financial objectives
  • The ability to travel globally
