Inside Sales Specialist, up to £35k bonus, based in Central London

Internally, they have industry experts and particularly within the sales team there is wealth of experience with individuals heading up the team that have worked for the company for 10 years.

The Role

This position will be working specifically on the emerging biopharma market and encompasses the opportunity to present my clients portfolio of analytics and data tools to new clients. They already have a number of key accounts that you can reference and the people that you are selling to will be aware of you as a company and the exciting work that you do. However, you still need to be a hunter type. If you are passionate about sales, developing yourself within a leading organisation and challenging yourself every day, then this could potentially be the right role for you.

  • Purely new business, there may be some existing accounts, but your responsibility will be on growth.

  • Key function in the expansion of the business, therefore you will need to learn their product portfolio and understand how these products could help prospective clients.

  • Striving to meet and exceed set targets and deadlines.

  • 2-3 years' experience of working in a pharma/life sciences sales role.

  • Clear evidence of winning and retaining new business, able to discuss previous monthly/yearly figures and can explain how you went about achieving these results.

  • Be passionate about the pharma sector and technology.

  • Fluent in English.

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?
I keep up to date with issues in my sector by staying well networked. Our team holds yearly networking events which gives us all a chance to meet with candidate and clients. I also read industry articles and stay well networked on LinkedIn. I think it really helps that I have good relationships with the clients and candidates I work with!

What's your favourite film and why?
My favourite film has to be all the Matrix films! I love all the martial arts scenes and special effects. I've recently watched the Kill Bill films too, so they're also up there with my favourites!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
I'd invent a machine that makes me unlimited money.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
What makes me distinctly different is that I make sure I understand the motivations of people moving jobs. Understanding motivations can sometimes open up opportunities people hadn't previously thought of.
