The Role

Account Director - Medical Education Storytelling Agency - Central London - £depending on experience

Exciting opportunity combining medical education and promotional / commercial work, working at a senior level around storytelling

The Company

Join a growing, full-service communications agency, with a marketing heritage, with sites in the UK and Switzerland as they continue to expand their team

  • Transitioned from a branding consultancy to a full-service agency in 2015, growing from 4 to 35 employees in just four years
  • Offer clients high level, technical communications working with both marketing teams and KOLs, focusing on producing high quality work rather than high quantity
  • Specialists in three key areas: rare diseases, oncology and haematology
  • Cover a wide range of interesting deliverables, 70% of which is promotional, including iPad apps, slides for congresses, technical training modules, onboarding training for specific disease areas, websites, branded websites, complex slide decks.

 

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking strategic direction for your own key accounts
  • Ensuring an excellent service is always provided for your clients
  • Leadership of the account team, and working closely with editorial colleagues
  • Support, training and management of your team
  • Budget management

 

You

To be considered for this Account Director vacancy you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience as an Account Director or 12months as a Senior Account Manager ready to take a step up
  • Experience within a communications agency setting
  • Client facing / relationship building skills
  • Life sciences degree or substantial experience working in the medical communications industry
