Account Manager - Medical Communications Agency - London - £Competitive DoE

This fast-growing agency is in need of an Account Manager to join their close-knit team due to continued growth and a number of exciting changes within the business. This agency offers the chance to work on a wide range of innovative projects and enhanced progression opportunities due to excellent training and close contact with senior team members. To apply for this role our client is hoping for candidates with at least 2 years medical communications agency experience.

The Role

This Account Manager role will involve being the key client contact on a range of innovative projects. These projects have the primary aim to educate healthcare professionals, ultimately helping them to improve and prolong the lives of patients. This role will involve the following key responsibilities:

  • Taking responsibility for projects through the entire lifecycle, from briefing through to delivery.
  • Being the key point of contact for clients and providing regular status updates.
  • Utilising your scientific knowledge to help plan and deliver creative projects.
  • Managing timelines and effectively communicating changes to stakeholders.
  • Budget management.
  • Supporting more junior team members, including Account Executives.

 

You

  • Proven experience working as an Account Manager, or Senior Account Executive in a healthcare communications agency.
  • A bachelor's degree in the life sciences, ideally supported by an MSc or PhD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent project management abilities.
  • An ambitious, team player.
