A chocolate-making machine that would be a normal household object to be used daily, like a toaster.

Fantastic opportunity for a Senior / Principal Medical Writer or Scientific Lead looking for a new challenge and more flexibility to join an international and well respected CRO. You will be working on a large Oncology Publications account and managing up to 6 writers. The role involves working closely with clients, KOL's and external suppliers, with monthly travel for client and internal meetings. When not travelling, you can enjoy the flexibility of being home based or at company offices in London (near Euston), Uxbridge or Brighton. The

The Job

Being the Scientific Team Lead on a large Oncology Publications account will involve:

  • Global operational leadership, line management of a geographically diverse writing teams

  • Large scale publication planning experience

  • Developing and championing scientific and editorial quality standards and best practices

  • Being the primary scientific client contact and troubleshoot potential account and client issues.

  • Project and resource management

  • Travel - monthly for client and internal team meetings



Along with a scientific background and commercial acumen, the ideal Scientific Team Lead will possess:

  • Well developed motivational and leadership qualities

  • Strong client-focused approach to work

  • Experience of reviewing, developing, and implementing editorial processes and effective working practices,

  • Effective project and resource planning

  • Ability to train and develop people

  • Aptitude for financial monitoring and efficiency assessment of projects
