How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Junior Designer - Healthcare Agency - London - £25k - £30k (6-month FTC)

 

The Company

A specialist healthcare consultancy that create innovative initiatives and powerful healthcare communications. Through in-depth research this creative agency providing fantastic evidence based solutions to healthcare policies in over 52 countries. Due to organic growth they are now seeking a junior designer to support the studio staff on a 6-month fixed term contract to help them continue to deliver on projects and help the business grow.

  • Fantastic opportunity to work with an established principal designer and gain exposure on a range of different areas of design.

  • A range of different projects in a number of different areas of healthcare

  • Fantastic offices based in central London close to a number of top restaurants and bars.

  • A mature, fast-paced environment where everyone works in collaboration with each other.

 

The Role

The main responsibilities for the Junior Designer would be to assist and support the Principal Designer across a number of different projects.

  • Conducting creative research to develop fresh approaches and ideas for campaigns.

  • Artworking the design team files to prepare for digital and print use.

  • Support the wider team in artworking PowerPoint presentations and template usage

  • Assist with branding compliance and checking work against initial specs.

 

You

Along with 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, a Junior Designer should be able to demonstrate extensive experience of working in PowerPoint and have a good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • Strong artworking for print and digital.

  • Sound knowledge of Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).

  • Extensive experience of artworking in PowerPoint presentations.

  • Competence and familiarity in using a Windows PC.
