How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

It is essential we keep up to date with industry news. Whether that relates to any big changes within the NHS that affects the Pharma industry, or what products are coming off patent / new product launches. This can be done by reading trade journals, attending exhibitions, but more often than not is done by speaking with candidates and clients on a regular basis.

What's your favourite film and why?
I can honestly say I don't remember the last time I watched a film through in its entirety.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
The things I would love to invent is mobile phones that NEVER cut off/lose signal, regardless of location, going into a tunnel or some other completely random event. One of the most frustrating things when speaking to people is when the line just dies for no apparent reason (or they just got bored and hung up on me)!

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
Last year I trained myself to be able to hold my breath for four minutes.

The Company

Our client is a Global Bio Pharma Company that has an exciting portfolio of niche specialist medicines to treat some of the most challenging diseases. They are seeking a Senior Brand Manager to join their highly skilled UK team to work on the strategy of a Blockbuster Biologic.


The Role

  • Lead the brand planning process and deliver a Brand Plan that is aligned to the Organisational Lifecycle and Mid-Term Plans
  • Develop and implement Brand and Non-Promotional Campaigns that are directed by the needs of the patient and healthcare professional as well as the goals of our client
  • Take and recommend strategic decisions that are informed by researched and evidenced insights that can be robustly supported.
  • Lead, manage and engage with internal and external stakeholders including key advocates
  • Be an effective Project Manager in order to lead and influence cross-functional and project teams including Medical and Market Access
  • Take responsibility for the development of budgeted tactical plans, the implementation of the plans, the reporting against agreed KPIs and objectives and the monitoring of the expenditure budgets.
  • Lead and direct the forecasting process.
  • Manage and work effectively with agencies and other 3rd party service providers



  • You MUST already be an experience Snr Brand Manager within pharma.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills. A passionate and enthusiastic brand champion who will maximise their potential to make an impact.
  • Works independently/autonomously and engages industriously with team working processes.
  • Strong personal management skills including time management, workload prioritisation, responsiveness, multi-tasking and flexibility.
  • Stretches the boundaries of high performance for self and others and adopts a continuous improvement focus
  • Initiative - able to operate with minimal supervision but knowing when to consult/inform manager/others
