The Role

Market Access Manager - Leading Global Pharma Company - Berkshire - £75,000 - £80,000 + Benefits (which include Subsidised Canteen, On- Site Gym, Strong transport links and on-site parking!)


The Company

My client is one of the world leading Pharma companies with sites in almost 35 countries across the Globe. Additionally, with a strong range of products including Diabetes & CV, Speciality Care, Consumer Healthcare and Emerging Markets sales of their various products reached record levels last year and they are keen to further develop their UK offering with the addition of a Market Access Manager.


The Role

Working in a multi-disciplinary team covering Public & Medical Affairs, Health Outcomes and an ever-expanding Patient Access Team including Market Access & Value Communications you will be responsible for developing my client's capabilities in the UK Market within their speciality care team.

You will be helping lead and develop Market Access & Value Communication strategies to secure Pricing & Reimbursement for a range of products that are at various stages of their clinical development. It's important that you understand the process for UK Market Access and the importance of relationships with the various UK authorities.



This is a great opportunity to join a very successful Pharma business that can offer you opportunities to grow and develop as a Market Access Manager. Key Skills:

  • Strong Market Access experience (UK NHS focussed)
  • Strong Pricing & Reimbursement knowledge within UK Market Access.
  • Good Market Access Value Communications experience is also important.
  • Understanding of HEOR data for use within Market Access HTA Submissions.
  • You will need to have a relevant Life Sciences Degree.

The typical roles that I tend to cover are Market Access Consultant, Senior Market Access Consultant, Market Access Manager / Director, Health Economist, Senior Health Economist, Health Economics Manager, Health Economics Director alongside roles such as HEOR Consultant & Manager, Real World Evidence Consultant & Patient Centered Outcomes Consultant.

Without doubt the amount of and potential use of Real-World Data & Real-World Evidence is leading to a lot of companies investing heavily in the hope of utilising this data. This is leading to huge advancements in Healthcare Technology in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms which will dramatically alter Healthcare over the coming years.

This is alongside Pharma companies working with various country specific regulators to combat an ever-ageing population, increased demands on national budgets and the need for increased collaboration across local and regional levels.
