The Role

Medical Editor - Medical Communications Agency - Oxford - £Negotiable

Award-winning, highly recognised, long standing healthcare communications agency are expanding due to a positive start to 2019, and have requirements for a strong Medical Editor to play an integral role in the Editorial team.


The Company

  • Work across various therapy areas including rare diseases and diabetes, and across a huge variety of deliverables including congresses, in-person and virtual meetings, podcasts, news pieces, online training, communications strategy, publications and more

  • Have specialist teams in each area including a digital team working on fast paced projects

  • Have long standing client relationships, working some major pharma and healthcare companies

The Role

As a Medical Editor, you will have full responsibility for the editing and production stages of your projects and your role will include working on a variety of projects including abstracts, scientific posters, primary manuscripts, PowerPoint slide decks, digital, meeting materials, newsletters and more!



To be considered for this Medical Editor role, you will be ambitious and driven, and be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience working as a Medical Editor within a medical communications environment (essential)

  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Life sciences degree as a minimum
