Medical Editor - Creative, digital medical communications agency - London - Up to £35k DoE

Fantastic, brand new opportunity for an experienced Medical Editor to join an innovative, creative medical communications agency, who work across a range of digital projects. To apply for this role our client was hoping for applicants with upwards of 3 years medical editing experience and a degree in the life sciences.

The Role

This Medical Editor position will be a brand-new role for the agency. Their editorial team currently consists of 1 permanent medical writer and multiple freelancers. Due to the quantity of work they require an inhouse editor who is familiar with their projects and styles to proofread and edit the work produced by their writers.

This role will involve editing a range if deliverables including, slide decks, sales aids, website copy, mobile/ tabloid apps and onscreen graphics.

 

You

To apply for this Medical Editor role, our client was hoping for candidates with the following skills and experiences.

  • A degree in the life sciences.
  • 3 years' experience editing a medical content, ideally in a medical communications agency, however they would also be open to applicants from a medical publications background.
  • Excellent eye for detail.
  • The ability to provide constructive and clear feedback to writers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
