The Role

Medical Education: Business Development Director - Global Medical Education Provider - 100% remote with travel requirement - £Impressive OTE Medical Education Development Director - business development to expand business in Europe through direct sales, leveraging the existing highly successful business franchise and assets.

 

The Company

Internationally recognised company that delivers evidence-based medical education to global healthcare professionals.

  • Expertise in needs assessment, grant writing, content development, faculty selection, outcomes assessment, production and distribution of medical education.
  • Design and produce materials for a variety of formats - (e-learning, video, live events and print)
  • Measure the outcomes and impact of the education delivered.
  • Therapy areas include Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Haematology, Immunology, Infectious Diseases, Neurology, Oncology and Rheumatology.
  • Role can be 100% remote or office based in central London, with around 50% travel as needed for project assignments.

 

The Role

As Medical Education Development Director you will work closely with the Managing Director to develop business with your assigned accounts.

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of accounts for the Business Unit
  • Write and deliver compelling proposals and presentations for assigned accounts to maximise revenue potential.
  • Ongoing market awareness to identify signals that represent business opportunities.
  • Set up meetings, present on capabilities and build strategic plans and educational curricula.
  • Regular communication with Medical Directors and Therapy Area lead to keep knowledge fresh and learning objectives focused.
  • Deliver outcomes reports

 

You

With a successful career of achieving sales targets in a medical education business, you will have an entrepreneurial spirit and innovative flair.

  • A sound understanding of the independent medical education environment, familiar with accreditation processes and requirements.
  • An ability to develop strong client relationships whilst demonstrating good business acumen.
  • Flexible with your thinking, approach and strategy to keep up with a dynamic and changing marketplace.
  • Highly motivated to work independently and comfortable in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
