The Role

Medical Writer / Senior Medical Writer / Principal Medical Writer - Medical Communications Agency - Greater Manchester - £35k-£55k, negotiable depending on experience

After several new business wins and an incredibly successful year, this is an exciting time to join this south Manchester based medical communications agency as they expand their editorial team.We will consider experienced Medical Writers, Senior Medical Writers or Principal Medical Writers.

The Role

As a Medical Writer, Senior Medical Writer or Principal Medical Writer you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the production of high-quality scientific and educational materials
  • Assisting clients in fulfilling their communications objectives, including client liaising when required
  • Writing and managing projects across a range of therapy areas and deliverables, as listed in the company information above
  • Mentoring junior team members, assisting in their training and development



To be considered for this Medical Writer, Senior Medical Writer or Principal Medical Writer you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience as either a Medical Writer, Senior Medical Writer or Principal Medical Writer working within a medical communications agency environment
  • We will consider candidates with experience across any deliverables or therapy areas, they don't have to be the same as those above as long as you are willing to quickly learn new areas
  • Life sciences degree as a minimum, MSc or PhD preferred
  • Excellent project, time and organisation management skills
  • A positive, teamwork mentality
