Medical Communications & Medical Education - roles include Medical Writers, Account Managers, Project Coordinators and Editoral Assistants. 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Attending events and meeting candidates and clients is a fantastic way of engaging with my sector and really getting to know people, companies and their motivations. This, alongside keeping up-to-date with MedComms Networking and PMLive articles. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I'm not the biggest of movie buffs but one of my favourites is Lars Von Trier's 'Dancer in the Dark'. It stars Bjork and I'm quite a big Bjork fan!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I would invent a mode of transport which is, essentially, a large rollercoaster. It would make my commute to work that bit more enjoyable.

My client is a leading Pharmaceutical Consultancy Group, offering a range of services across much of the product lifecycle. Their Medical Communications division has a passion for communicating complex concepts to patients and healthcare professionals on behalf of their Pharmaceutical clients, across a remarkable range of innovative therapy areas.

The Role

This Account Executive role is a fantastic opportunity to gain client-facing Medical Communications experience. You will have access to a wealth of Pharmaceutical accounts, working with integrated account teams to ensure relationships are maintained and projects are delivered to brief.

  • Financial and project management of multiple projects

  • Leading client teleconferences, building and maintaining influential relationships

  • Working alongside and supporting the account team

  • Developing understanding of client needs and therapy areas



You will be able to demonstrate a keen interest in Medical Communications, with a life-sciences background ideally, (but not essential) and some experience within the healthcare sector would be beneficial.

  • Meticulously organised with a keen eye for detail

  • Some financial management and project management experience

  • Have a collaborative and team-focused approach

  • Good communicator, verbally and written

  • A demonstrable interest in Healthcare
