How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Attending events and meeting candidates and clients is a fantastic way of engaging with my sector and really getting to know people, companies and their motivations. This, alongside keeping up-to-date with MedComms Networking and PMLive articles. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I'm not the biggest of movie buffs but one of my favourites is Lars Von Trier's 'Dancer in the Dark'. It stars Bjork and I'm quite a big Bjork fan!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I would invent a mode of transport which is, essentially, a large rollercoaster. It would make my commute to work that bit more enjoyable.

I try not to make assumptions on people and get to know everyone on an individual basis.

The Role

This Scientific Project Coordinator role is the opportunity for you to develop your writing and account handling career within a project portfolio boasting multichannel communications and patient-centric comms, ranging from internal training solutions through to external meetings and ad-boards.

  • Hybrid role - account management and writing!

  • Assisting financial tracking and invoicing

  • Co-ordinating logistics and liaising with internal and external personnel

  • Developing outlines and drafts of scientific material, from publications to training materials

  • Attending and offering onsite support to project meetings

 

You

As Scientific Project Coordinator, you will not only be a meticulous scientist with a strong written experience, but a personable and commercially minded.

You will have already begun developing your writing career in academia and will now be looking to expand your skillset within Medical Communications

  • Meticulously organised!

  • Excellent time management skills and able to remain on top of multiple projects

  • A keen eye and attention to detail

  • A life sciences degree - essential! Agency or voluntary experience a plus.
