How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Attending events and meeting candidates and clients is a fantastic way of engaging with my sector and really getting to know people, companies and their motivations. This, alongside keeping up-to-date with MedComms Networking and PMLive articles. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I'm not the biggest of movie buffs but one of my favourites is Lars Von Trier's 'Dancer in the Dark'. It stars Bjork and I'm quite a big Bjork fan!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I would invent a mode of transport which is, essentially, a large rollercoaster. It would make my commute to work that bit more enjoyable.

Scientific Project Co-ordinator - Medical Communications Agency - Cheshire - Up to £25k Dependant on experience

The Role

This Scientific Project Coordinator is a rare hybrid between medical writing and account manager. My client wants to give as much exposure to all Medical Communications disciplines as possible and allow people to discover and grow into their own area of expertise organically.

  • You will experience the full life-cycle of Medical Communications campaigns and have real, demonstrable input into what is delivered to the client.

  • Assisting financial tracking and invoicing

  • Co-ordinating logistics and liaising with internal and external personnel

  • Developing outlines and drafts of scientific material, from publications to training materials

  • Attending and offering onsite support to project meetings

 

You

  • As Scientific Project Coordinator, you will not only be a meticulous scientist with a strong writing experience, but you'll also be personable and commercially minded.

  • Confident both with pen in hand and in front of a high profile Pharmaceutical client.

  • Meticulously organised!

  • Excellent time management skills and able to remain on top of multiple projects

  • A keen eye and attention to detail

  • A life sciences degree - essential!

  • Agency or voluntary experience a plus.
