The Role

Observational Research Director - Pharmaceutical Consultancy - Cheshire - £45k - £65k (DOE - as a general guide)

Our well known and well-established client are currently recruiting for a Observational Research Director to join their fantastic team in Cheshire. You will get exposure to global projects and join a company which is having their best year to date! They have a massive presence in the Pharmaceutical Consultancy/Real World Evidence space.

The Role

The role will be working within the Real World Evidence side of the business. This is an opportunity for someone to join a fantastic growing department and gain exposure to a range of projects. You will:

  • Study design - Working with clients to understand their needs and assist with identifying appropriate research solutions. Plus supporting the junior team with study protocols and data collection materials
  • Implementation and management of the research process - Key client contact, project leadership and working with a range of different teams and external bodies
  • Analysis and reporting of results - Supporting junior staff with completion of analysis, supporting final research report and presentation of study data and study results. Also authorship of publications (including abstracts, posters and manuscripts)
  • New business development/proposal writing - Leading writing of proposals and developing on-going relationships with clients
  • Team development - coaching and line management of team members

 

You

Ideally for this Real World Evidence Director position, our client is hoping for the following:

  • Experienced in real world evidence and/or observational studies
  • Leadership qualities/experience
  • A drive to shape and progress an already expanding department
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector
