How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

I try and keep on top of industry specific news via LinkedIn, newsletters and media in general. I believe you can also gather most of the information that you need from conversations with candidates and clients. 

What is your favourite film and why?

Anchorman - it is one of those films where the more you watch it the funnier it gets. If not then pretty much anything with Denzel Washington in it - he doesn't do bad films!

If you could invent one this what would it be?

A time machine without a doubt! I absolutely hate both myself and other people being late so this would just solve all my issues.

What makes you distinctly different?

I have completed Tough Mudder twice, as well as other endurance events. I feel it is necessary to push yourself both mentally and physically, otherwise you never know what you can do. It hurts all the way around but you cannot beat that feeling the at the finish line! 



The Role

Business Development Manager, paying up to £28,000 basic + excellent potential commission earnings on top of your basic.


The Company

My client is a customer- centric research and insight agency with an international portfolio of clients and offices. Part of a large company that works with leading brands names across the pharma and consumer sectors

  • Established presence in America and India, this role will help the continued growth of their UK offering

  • Have created their own unique products and methodologies to capture some interesting useable data on the customer journey.


The Role

There will be some KPIs, targets and deadlines with this role but within your role you will be allowed to work autonomously. My client is looking to grow their UK office and this role will be integral to that success. You will be given the opportunity to really make a name for yourself within the sector and ultimately earn lots of commission.

  • Supporting marketing campaigns with calls and emails to a targeted market

  • Understand and interpret the individual required needs of each client

  • Use appropriate data sources to capture information about prospects and work out how you can aid them with their business requirements.

  • Maintain and utilise CRM database



My client is looking for a sales hungry person, who has a keen interest in developing new business and creating more revenue from existing accounts. You will be use to working in a fast-paced environment whilst providing comprehensive answers to questions that clients pose.

  • Preferably educated to degree level but this is not a necessity

  • At least a years' experience within a sales environment preferably selling a technical/IT service to businesses

  • You have experience of working and liaising with clients directly managing their expectations and building lasting relationships

  • Market research or Marketing experience would be a bonus
