How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?
I keep up to date with issues in my sector by staying well networked. Our team holds yearly networking events which gives us all a chance to meet with candidate and clients. I also read industry articles and stay well networked on LinkedIn. I think it really helps that I have good relationships with the clients and candidates I work with!
What's your favourite film and why?
My favourite film has to be all the Matrix films! I love all the martial arts scenes and special effects. I've recently watched the Kill Bill films too, so they're also up there with my favourites!
If you could invent one thing what would it be?
I'd invent a machine that makes me unlimited money.
What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
What makes me distinctly different is that I make sure I understand the motivations of people moving jobs. Understanding motivations can sometimes open up opportunities people hadn't previously thought of.
Consultant, £27k - £35k, Cheshire
Our client is a small but ambitious and growing specialist marketing strategy consultancy, operating solely within the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry. They have enjoyed some superb success to date and are working with some of the globe's leading pharmaceutical companies on three main levels; brand strategy, disease area strategy and healthcare environment. The success means they are looking to expand their team and currently they're seeking to attract a Consultant Researcher.
This role sits within their Research and Planning team which will involve taking responsibility for high quality primary research projects.
Projects are predominantly ad hoc global studies, across the brand lifecycle, covering a wide range of therapy areas and customer types.
Development of innovative approaches / methodologies to answer key business questions
Proposal writing, discussion guide design and moderation of interviews
Development and delivery of client presentations
Design and facilitation of client workshops
The ideal candidate will
Have pharmaceutical market research experience >3-5years
Be competent in both Qualitative and Quantitative research - Qualitative essential
Be comfortable in a client facing role
Be experienced in delivering national / international research studies
Have multiple therapeutic experience
